About this course

Our Life and Living courses support students, aged 16-24, with learning difficulties and disabilities who would like to develop their personal and social development skills as well as their work skills. The courses are delivered by a dedicated team of specialist and experienced staff.

We offer study programmes which help learners develop maths, English, ICT as well as life, personal and communication skills. These courses offer practical and classroom based activities as well as supported trips, visits and work experience to help develop independent living skills.

Students have the opportunity to practise and develop the life skills needed to participate fully as members of their communities and as citizens in the wider community.

Life & Living Skills Assessment

Entry requirements

Students will be invited to interview after making your application online or in person. If possible you should bring your transition plan from your school along with you or bring your personal advisor along with an EHCP/S139a.

You will be required to meet with the course tutors before an offer of a place is made and to provide a statement of Special Educational Needs (S139a).
