ESOL and Basic Computer Skills

This is a basic computer skills course for ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students. 

It will help you to understand computers and also learn language skills related to computers.

Please note that all classes and courses are subject to minimum numbers. If there are too few enrolments, the College may cancel the class. A place on your chosen course is not confirmed until enrolment is complete.

This course will help you to become familiar with documents, the home screen and browsers. 

You will use Word and PowerPoint and search for information online.

You will also be able to study ESOL at the same time as you will produce written work on a computer. 

To ensure you are on the right course we will give you an assessment to check your English language level.

You will be required to attend an interview prior to enrolling on the course.

You can progress to the Entry 3 Level ESOL and Computer Skills course.
