We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals and deliver outstanding teaching to the next generation of hair stylists. We have a clear vision to deliver a high standard of on hands on and technical training in our new £34million facilities.

The role will suit an applicant who holds a level 3 qualification in hairdressing or equivalent with relevant experience in the related areas. Successful applicants will be required to teach Hairdressing and Barbering to Levels 1, 2 and 3 students and will specialise in theatrical hair design. We encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory. As well as teaching you may be required to act as a Personal Tutor, and, maintain up to date records and take on an internal assessment role in-line with college policy. You will have an appropriate level qualification, evidence of ongoing professional development and for appointment as a qualified teacher you will also hold a teaching qualification.

The successful candidate will be flexible, and possess good motivational skills and good course and class room management is essential. You will be required to carry out learning and assessment activities, develop and enhance the existing curriculum to meet industry requirements, whilst ensuring your Teaching and Learning is consistently delivered to a high standard.

The salary offered is up to £28,000, plus pension, 39 days annual leave and statutory bank holidays. The salary is dependent on experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
