We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals and deliver outstanding teaching to the next generation of Game design, Media and digital communication students.

You will be educated to degree level in a games related discipline and have excellent knowledge of the software used within the industry. Ideally you will also have experience of working within the Games sector.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the Media & Games Design department. Within this role you will teach on a variety of courses and will be contributing to the on-going development of this fast growing curriculum.

You will be delivering units such as digital animation, 3D modelling, 3D environments and Concept Art as well as the background to the games industry.

Your main roles will be to monitor and track the students’ progress towards their qualification and carry out   assessments, support learners to build their portfolio of evidence and completing the relevant paperwork. You will also be required to attend standardisation meetings.

Required skills include experience with game development pipelines, Unreal Engine 4, ideally including knowledge of blueprints, 3D modelling and animation in either Maya or 3DS Max, Good mathematics ability, particularly regarding geometry and experience with Photoshop.

Desirable skills include an understanding of physically based rendering (PBR) and a background in media studies.
