Teacher and Assessor in Brickwork
22.5 hours teaching • 14.5 hours assessing • Salary: Up to £31,017 pro rata for the teacher role and up to £27,626 pro rata for the assessing role (depending on experience)

We are looking for a bricklayer who is interesting in working with young people and becoming a teacher and assessor for brickwork qualifications. You will ideally be qualified and have at least three years experience working as a bricklayer. You will be training and assessing apprentices and full time learners (mostly over the age of 16) who are interested in becoming bricklayers. Contact us to discuss this opportunity and we will arrange for a visit to the college and discuss it in more detail and discuss the next steps. Full training and support will be given to you to help you take on this new role.
The successful candidate will be passionate about their trade whilst also having the ambition of passing on their knowledge and experiences to the next generation of tradesman.
Working from our St Mary’s site, your role will focus primarily on delivering high quality teaching and training to apprentices and full time learners.
You will be able to work as part of the team or individually and have good interpersonal skills.
