Salary: £23,442 to £25,000 (dependent on experience)

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals in the Management Information Systems team (MIS).
We are located in a beautiful part of the world - close to the stunning New Forest, great beaches and historic cathedral cities of Winchester, Salisbury and Chichester. Local schools are excellent and Southampton has an array of shopping and leisure facilities.
The role entails a variety of duties including ensuring accurate, complete and valid information is provided in a timely manner to our internal and external customers. Analysing learner data and creating web enabled reports to support the management of the organisation are key aspects of the role. The MIS Systems Officer will support customers in the efficient use of information systems and provide assistance with access to information and individual reporting requirements.
As the MIS Systems Officer you will have substantial experience in developing Web based interactive reporting systems or applications (c#, VB, asp), analysing data and statistics and handling complex written and numerical information as well as experience with Microsoft Reporting Services and using SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012.
The successful candidate will be flexible and possess good motivational skills. Knowledge and experience of project work is also desirable combined with a knowledge and understanding of leading edge technology. A Level 4 Qualification ideally in computer science, information systems or computer engineering and a GCSE English (A*-C)/ Level 2 Literacy and GCSE Mathematics (A*-C)/ Level 2 Numeracy (or equivalent) are essential.
