City College Southampton is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with an eagerness to learn and develop to join our Learning Support team.  Reporting to the Additional Learning Support Manager, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support.

Duties include being responsible for maintaining records on the College’s student database to ensure effective recording of information and provide an effective, high quality and timely administration service for the ALS exams processes.

We are looking for someone who has a positive, flexible and customer focused approach that can build good working relationships with a broad range of people and work in a confidential manner. Along with excellent attention to detail, highly organised and able to work to your own initiative to ensure you meet deadlines.

The role will suit someone with experience of working in a administration role providing excellent customer service and communication style, experience in an education setting is advantageous but not required as full training will be provided. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential and a working knowledge of databases would be useful.

 You will be able to work to your own initiative and work as part of a wider team supporting colleagues. Experience of handling confidential information is essential, with the ability to prioritise the workload and meet tight deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities are essential.
