City College Southampton is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with an eagerness to learn and develop to join our small, friendly but fast-paced generalist HR team.

So as a HR Administrator at City College Southampton, what will you be doing? You will support the Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisor with all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment and selection activities, note taking of sensitive meetings and maintaining the HR database and ensuring personnel electronic records and hard copy files are accurate and up to date.

We are looking for someone who has a positive, flexible and customer focused approach that can build good working relationships with a broad range of people and work in a confidential manner. Along with excellent attention to detail, highly organised and able to work to your own initiative to ensure you meet deadlines.

The role will suit someone with experience of working in a busy administration role providing excellent customer service, experience in a HR role is advantageous but not required as full training will be provided. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential and a working knowledge of HR & Management Information Systems/databases would be useful.

This will be an office-based position working 4 or 5 days per week with the core hours being from 10am-2pm. Start and finish times will be discussed at interview.
