We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals to support deaf and hard of hearing students in their learning throughout their time at City College, through the provision of sign language communication and language support. 

The role will suit an applicant who has had experience working in the education sector, is an experienced lip reader and has knowledge and understanding of the required elements of British Sign Language linguistics.

You will be able to communicate fluently over extended periods using complex language as needed, be able to relay information in BSL and written language, and be able to use technical vocabulary and complex grammatical structures as needed. In addition to this you will have Level 2 in English and Maths and British Sign Language levels 1, 2 and 3.
