City College is looking for an experienced sale professional to join us at a time of steady growth.

You will be promoting the benefits of apprenticeships and staff training to employers.  You will be responsible for making outbound calls/emails, tracking and reporting daily activity, following up on leads, maintaining a customer relations database, identifying additional opportunities and other duties as required. The position will be expected to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives

You will join our small but effective team of sales staff who all have a passion for improving people’s career opportunities through learning. In return you will get a good salary and generous leave package.

You will work with the Business Development Manager and other Business Development Officers to meet both the college’s commercial income objectives as well as positively raising the college’s profile in the business community.

You will be responsible for achieving sales targets relating to the recruitment of Apprentices as well as coordinating and organising employer-commissioned courses for employed people.

The role will suit an experienced Sales professional, ideally with experience in a training and development environment.  You must be self-motivated and able to innovate with a successful track record of securing commercial contracts. You should have experience of using a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a commitment to high performance.
