City College is looking for a temporary teacher of warehousing and storage. In partnership with Job Centre Plus and Southampton City Council, the College is delivering pre-employment training to unemployed adults who are interested in a career in warehousing and storage. It is hoped that many students graduating from the course will apply for a role at the new distribution centre being built for LIDL in the Adanac Park area of Southampton.
We need someone to teach adult students at level 1 in a series of two week blocks between 11th April and 16th July 2016.
You will need to deliver high quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to these adult learners.
As well as teaching you will be required to maintain up to date records and take on an internal assessment role in-line with college policy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence.
