Associate Teacher in Motor Vehicle

Salary: £21.29 (unqualified) or £24.63(qualified) per hour

The Motor Vehicle department has outstanding facilities which cater for full time learners from level 1 to level 3 and light & heavy vehicle level 2 and level 3 apprentices.  The successful candidate will have recent relevant commercial or industrial experience in light vehicle or heavy vehicle mechanics and be qualified to at least level 3 with an interest in working with young people to improve their skills.

Working from our St Marys site, your role will focus primarily on delivering outstanding teaching and learning. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Senior Teacher and Learning Manager for the area to ensure assessment processes are robust and assessment decisions are accurate. 

You will be able to work as part of the team or individually and have good interpersonal skills. You will be willing to work toward gaining a qualification in teaching and assessing.
