We are looking for a proactive, highly skilled and committed Apprenticeship Recruitment Coordinator to support the Business Development team and sales with the generation of quality candidates to fulfil various Apprenticeship opportunities. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and other Business Development Officers to identify strategies to search, locate and secure the services of candidates whilst continually raising the profile of the College, enabling City College to be the provider of choice for Employers and Candidates.
As Apprenticeship Recruitment Coordinator, you will primarily be registering and assessing potential applicants and matching them to existing vacancies within the Business Development Team. You will work closely with Business Development Officers to develop an understanding of the employers they are managing relationships with as well as the types of candidates which their employers look to bring in to their organisation. You will be responsible for managing a growing caseload of applicants, continually assessing their availability and suitability for roles.
The role will suit an individual with experience of working in an administrative/support role, ideally in a Recruitment or Sales related industry. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Apprenticeships and/or government funding. We are looking for someone self motivated and able to show a high level of innovation with experience of working towards set targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence. The post requires a flexible approach to working as there will be some evening and weekend work required.
