Hours: 40 per week                       Salary: £136 per week

City College Southampton are offering a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity within a very respected and large business, specialising in maintaining, servicing and MOT testing any vehicle from a light van up to a maximum weight articulated lorry, to the Ministry of Transport Standards.

The successful candidate will work as part of a very knowledgeable and experienced team. In the initial stages you will mainly be completing light servicing duties of HGV including working on brakes, oil changes, changing tyres etc but as your knowledge and skills develop your responsibilities will increase within the team.

The ideal candidate would already have some knowledge or experience of mechanics or it would be reflected in their interests/hobbies. The work will involve working outside lifting heavy materials which can be physically demanding.
