Fabrication and Welding Engineering Apprentice
Wright Rain Environmental has been formed by the merger of the commercial divisions of two of the oldest and best-loved names in the water industry. We have a proud heritage of projects and experience of large projects for major companies throughout the UK, which I am developing for the future in conjunction with our clients and equipment suppliers. This brings together continuity of client service and contact with the most up-to-date technology and equipment for the constantly changing future markets.
Brief overview of the role
Assisting experienced staff in fabrication, service and assembly workshop. Welding fitting, equipment location packing and despatch. Some machinery work under supervision. Keeping workshop tidy for Health and Safety purposes.
Working week
8.30am to 5pm. Monday to Friday with 1 hour break. (2 x 15min + ½ hour lunch)Total hours per week: 37.50
Weekly wage £131.25
Future prospects
The successful candidate will be completing a 42 month apprenticeship and must be eager to learn this industry.
Things to considerThe workshop has heating but be prepared and happy to work in workshop conditions.
