City College Southampton are offering a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity within Southern Health. Named as one of the 100 best places to work in the NHS by the Health Service Journal in 2015, Southern Health is one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK, specialising in mental health, adult and child community health, learning disabilities and social care services.

They are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join the busy Child Health Information Service based in Southampton. The post holder will join the team whose purpose is to create, maintain and update electronic health and well-being records for children aged 0-19 in Hampshire and provide the administration and support for the Healthy Child Programme. The role will have an emphasis on maintaining records on screening outcomes for pre-school children.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also be willing to undertake NVQ level 2 in Business Administration supported by the trust.

For the right candidate, this could lead to a permanent position once the apprenticeship has been completed.
