A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Southampton City College.

Due to the continued increase of apprenticeship recruitment across various industries, we are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team.

This role requires an individual with good customer service skills who can provide employers, apprentices and their colleagues with exceptional support and service.

The workforce skills hub is a central support network for apprentices and employers to communicate with the college. You will be involved in the day to day operational running of the hub.  This will make you the first point of contact for employers and apprentices to report absence or discuss a query, whilst ensuring the administrative support and communication is in place for assessors and curriculum.  You will work closely with management, employers, assessors and curriculum to ensure apprenticeship tracking and quality is robust and that every apprentice and employer receives an excellent experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication and team work skills, high levels of self-motivation and a good level of logic. You’ll also need good organisational & planning skills and have a methodical approach to tasks.

The hourly rate as advertised is a range within the band and your appointment will be based upon your qualifications. Hours of work for this role are flexible and not guaranteed. The hourly rate includes an enhancement for annual leave and lesson preparation / marking.
