The Marine Skills centre is a highly regarded centre of excellence within the marine industry, with excellent success rates and well established links with local and nationally based employers.
The successful candidate will be dedicated to high expectations teaching and learning within their team, committed to securing good or outstanding outcomes for students and developing the strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Working from our Woolston site, your role will focus primarily on delivering cutting edge teaching to level 2 Boatbuilding and Marine apprentice and full time learners. You will be required to deliver both theory and practical skills in wood to include joinery and shipwrighting skills. The ideal candidate should also be competent in both theory and construction of composite craft.
You will be able to work as part of the team or individually and have good interpersonal skills.
The salary offered is up to £31,017 plus pension, 39 days annual leave and statutory bank holidays. The salary is dependent on experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
