An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team at the Marine Skills Centre within City College Southampton.
Our “outstanding” Marine Skills centre is a highly regarded centre of excellence within the marine industry, with outstanding success rates and well established links with local and nationally based employers.
The successful candidate will be a champion for excellent teaching and learning within their team, committed to securing good or outstanding outcomes for students and developing the strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Working from our Woolston site, your role will focus primarily on delivering cutting edge teaching to level 2 and 3 boatbuilding apprentice and full time learners. The candidate should have skills in both traditional and composite building techniques to meet the needs of modern industry.
You will be able to work as part of the team or individually and have good interpersonal skills.
The salary offered is up to £30,710 plus market supplement, plus pension, 39 days annual leave and statutory bank holidays. The salary is dependent on experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
