We are looking to appoint a proactive Marketing and Communications Officer who will support the development and success of City College’s professional marketing service.

You will be responsible for coordinating and providing a range of online and offline marketing duties to enhance the profile and reputation of City College and to attract young people and adults to apply to study at the College.

As part of this role, you will contribute to delivering the annual marketing plan by creating and managing events, campaigns, PR, social media, advertising and a variety of marketing materials.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to write creative content in an engaging style to suit the audience. You will be positive, self-motivated, assertive and flexible, with excellent attention to detail. You will also be able to manage multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines.

You should be educated to Level 3 or above, including GCSE grades C/4 in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. Ideally you should have a Degree in Marketing or Digital Communications and/or a CIM qualification. Excellent organisational and admin skills and the proven ability to work under pressure are essential. You should also be a highly competent user of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel. This role will include some evening and weekend work.
