City College Southampton is looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Finance Manager to lead the college’s finance team. Reporting to the Vice Principal Finance and Resources, the Finance Manager will be responsible for a team of 6 that manages the finances of the college and a small studio school the college sponsors.
Candidates will need to be professionally qualified (ACCA/ CIMA/ CIPFA) and demonstrate the ability to lead teams and meet tight deadlines. Experience in the Further Education sector would be desirable, but more importantly the individual will have the ability to get the most out of the people working for them and is not afraid, and is fully prepared, to get involved in the day to day requirements to ensure the job gets done properly.
