City College Southampton is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual, with an eagerness to learn and develop, to join our small, friendly and busy Estates team.
As an Estates Administrator at City College Southampton, you will provide general day to day administrative support for the Head of Estates, Deputy Estates Manager and the Estates team members. This will include assisting with the administration of the Estates Helpdesk and associated works, such as liaising with staff regarding works, and helping to co-ordinate external contractor visits. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety databases and note taking at contractor or health and safety meetings.
We are looking for someone who has a positive, flexible and customer focused approach and possess good communication skills and is highly organised. In addition, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to work to your own initiative to ensure deadlines are met.
The role will suit someone with experience of working in a busy administration role providing excellent customer service. Experience in an Estates role is advantageous but not required as full training will be provided. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential.
This will be an office-based position with working days/hours to be discussed at interview.
