We are offering a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dedicated team to provide a first point of contact for the College working front of house on our reception desk.

The role entails a variety of duties including front line reception, welcoming visitors, dealing with incoming and outgoing phone calls and e-mails, responsibility for safety and emergency responses, and providing accurate information to all visitors, callers, students and staff.

The role will suit an applicant who has had experience in a customer service role, and is an excellent communicator able to work with a wide variety of people.

The successful candidate will be flexible, work well in a team and possess good people and motivational skills.  Knowledge of the education sector is desirable but not essential.

You should be educated to level 2 or above, including GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. Excellent organisational and administrative skills, and the proven ability to work in a busy environment are essential, and candidates should be highly competent users of MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. This role will include some evening and weekend work.
