The National Collaborative Outreach Programme is a joint initiative across universities, the Local Authority and colleges providing higher education (HE) throughout the UK. This is an exciting project with the first phase of funding guaranteed until December 2018.

The post holder will manage the project throughout. You will be responsible for encouraging and supporting our students (from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds) to progress to higher education. You must  have a qualification in careers guidance, and have experience of working in an education-related field.  You must also have experience of working with young people, an understanding of post-16 and Higher Education qualifications, and of issues relating to progression and social inclusion. 

You will have excellent presentation skills, as well as the ability to speak confidently to large groups. You will be positive, assertive and flexible with excellent attention to detail.  You will also be able to meet challenging deadlines and work within a collaborative team environment. You will be able to demonstrate a commanding presence which holds others interest and have the ability to creatively solve problems.
