Associate Teachers: Various subject areas
Salary: £ (20.46 - £28.37 an hour dependant on skills and experience)

We are looking to employ Associate Teachers to deliver teaching to young people and adults as part of our expanding curriculum provision.
In particular, we are interested in applicants with experience in the following subject areas;
Employability skills – Entry Level up to Level 2
Construction - Entry Level up to Level 3
Engineering (CAD) – Level 3
HGV Motor Vehicle - Entry Level up to Level 2
Health and Social Care - Entry Level up to Level 2
Early Years - Entry Level up to Level 2
The hours are likely to be as follows but some flexibility will be expected;
Employability skills- 2.5 days per week minimum, up to 5 days per week at busier times when more than one short course is scheduled per month
Construction - 1 week per month
Engineering - 3 - 4 hours per week
HGV motor Vehicle - Dec = 2 weeks, Feb = 2 weeks, April = 2 weeks, July = 2 weeks, Dec 17 = 2 weeks.
Health and Social Care: Feb 17 = 3 weeks, Jun 17 = 3 weeks, Nov 17 = 3 weeks Early Years: 0.5 days per week every 3 weeks on a roll on roll off basis, with flexibility for additional hours of up to one week per quarter
You will ideally have teaching experience and knowledge of the programmes taught and you will need to ensure that you are able to deliver high quality teaching and learning. As well as acting as a Personal Tutor, you will teach and assess on agreed courses, maintain up to date records and take on an internal assessment role in-line with college policy. You should have a broad and up to date knowledge of trends and initiatives within your industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a good standard of IT literacy are essential.
