Associate Teacher in Photography and Art and Design
Salary: associate hourly rate (£20.98- Unqualified £24.27 – Qualified)

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals and deliver outstanding teaching to the next generation of artists/photographers. Our vision is to deliver a high standard of hands-on and technical training in our facilities which includes an art and design and photography studios. The role will suit an applicant who holds a degree in art and design including photography.
Teacher Training, is not necessarily required as it may be given alongside the post, to be taken within the first 2 years of the successful application.
The successful candidate will be flexible, and possess good motivational skills and good course and class room management is essential. Knowledge and experience of project work is also desirable combined with a knowledge and understanding of current trends in the industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence.

The hourly rate as advertised is a range within the band and your appointment will be based upon your skills, experience and qualifications. The hourly rate includes an enhancement for annual leave and lesson preparation / marking.
