Associate Teacher in Foundation Learning
Salary: Unqualified: £20.98 per hour • Qualified: £24.27 per hour

The Foundation Learning department at City College Southampton is looking for an experienced associate teacher to work with young people aged 16-19. You will have a relevant qualification at level 4 or above and teaching experience.
City Horizons specialises in working with learners with BESD and/or SEND challenges, therefore experience in a similar field would be a benefit. Managing and defusing challenging behaviours is essential. As is the ability to engage NEET young people. City College has excellent facilities that support highly imaginative and innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment of our students.

The hourly rate as advertised is a range within the band and your appointment will be based upon your qualifications. Hours of work for this role are flexible and not guaranteed. The hourly rate includes an enhancement for annual leave and lesson preparation / marking.
