Associate Teacher in ESOL

Salary: £20.77 (unqualified) or £24.03 (qualified) per hour

The Foundation Learning department at City College Southampton are looking for an experienced ESOL teacher to work with young people aged 16-19.

You will have a TESOL/CELTA qualification and relevant teaching experience as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It is essential that you are able to deliver innovative and engaging teaching. You must also be fully competent in the uses of IT. If you have the skill set and would like to contribute to an expanding curriculum area with great growth potential then we would like to speak to you.

The hourly rate as advertised is a range within the band and your appointment will be based upon your skills, experience and qualifications. Hours of work for this role are flexible and not guaranteed. You are free to accept or decline offers of work and the Corporation is under no obligation to offer you engagements or re-engagement. The hourly rate includes an enhancement for annual leave and lesson preparation / marking.
