Associate Teacher Foundation Degree in Early Years
Salary: £21.29 (unqualified) or £24.63 (qualified) per hour

We are looking to employ an Associate Teacher in our ‘General Education’ Team to teach on year 3 of the Foundation Degree in Early Years and Education.
The applicant should have a good record of teaching experience and prior experience from an early years environment. You will work to deliver high quality teaching and learning at level 5, as well as acting as a Personal Tutor. You will need to maintain up to date records and take on an internal assessment role in-line with college policy. Knowledge of Educational policies and Early Years subjects are essential for the role.
You will have an appropriate early years qualification, evidence of ongoing professional development and for appointment as a qualified teacher you will also hold a teaching qualification. With a broad knowledge of trends and initiatives within the industry; you will also have experience of contributing to course design and curriculum development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence.
