Assessment Centre Moderator

14 hours per week over 4 days • Salary: £16,000 per annum pro rata

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for you to join our marketing and admissions team to drive forward our recruitment of adults studying basic skills at the college.

You will provide administrative support to our basic skills teachers to guide and support potential students with their initial assessments which will determine the level of course that is most suitable for them.

You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring the assessments, dealing with queries collating the results, updating the system with the relevant information and providing them to the interviewing tutor.

You will have experience in a customer service role, in an education or training environment is preferred but not essential.  You will be able to demonstrate excellent personal communication skills and are positive, assertive and flexible. 

You will have extensive administrative skills with an excellent attention to detail. Your communication skills will be required to build relationships with students and internal teams throughout the college.

You should be educated to Level 2 or above, including GCSE grades C or above in English and maths, or equivalent qualifications.  Excellent organisational and administrative skills, and a proven ability to work in a busy environment are essential, and candidates should be highly competent users of MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
