An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Apprenticeship department.

The Apprenticeship team are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead on the quality, tracking of progress and compliance across apprenticeships, in line with Ofsted, awarding body and ESFA requirements. This role will also support assessors and teaching staff across the College in different sectors, including Engineering and Marine, Construction, Business Administration and Hair. The individual will support the Head of Apprenticeships in the leadership of the Apprentice Hub and Lead on Observations of assessors, and apprentice tutors in line with other College staff.

Working from our St Marys site, as well as conducting observations at employers’ premises with the vocational assessors, the role would be ideal for someone with a strong Apprenticeship background. An assessor/IQA qualification is required for this role. You must also have excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, along with a strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with Ofsted requirements for tracking of progress and hold an Assessor and IQA qualification. As well as being able to work individually and as part of the team and have good interpersonal skills.

The salary offered is up to £28,759 plus Local Government Pension Scheme, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and reduced rates on private medical plans and on-site gym.
