Marine Skills Centre

Our state-of-the art Marine Skills Centre with some of the best facilities on the South Coast

City College’s specialist Marine Skills Centre is located on the waterside in Woolston, Southampton, featuring some of the best marine training facilities on the South Coast for boat building and marine engineering.

The centre features specialist workshops for boat building and repairs, composites (FRP and GRP), marine engineering and marine electrical. In addition to classrooms for theory-based training, it has an open-plan computer suite with CAD facilities.
