Awards Evening 2015

BY INVITATION ONLY

Start time: 6:30pm - 4th November 2015
End time: 9:00pm - 4th November 2015

The City College annual awards evening is one of the highlights of the year, providing an opportunity to recognise and celebrate our many students' achievements and successes. More than 40 students and apprentices will receive awards at our Oscar-style event and several businesses will also be applauded for their commitment to the training and development of staff including their support of our learners.

The awards evening will give current students a chance to show off their skills to the public as they get involved in the running of the event. Media students will take care of filming, hospitality and catering students will prepare and serve cocktails and canapes, and technical theatre students will ensure the stage, sound, lighting and special effects are set. Performing arts students will entertain the audience with a short extract from "CATS" plus two of them will join the Principal and the Mayor of Southampton on stage as they read the award citations.
