Interested in baking and currently in year 10 or 11 at school?
If so, this is the perfect FREE half-day workshop during February half term for all the budding bakers out there!
You will be guided through the process of making doughnuts from start to finish and will leave with a variety of delicious delights to take home with you!
Just for fun there will be a prize for the best looking and tasting doughnuts. All students will also leave with a goody bag!
Allergen information: this course uses wheat, dairy and egg. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to tailor recipes for substitutions or alterations, as these can fundamentally change the composition and outcome of the recipes.

What you will learn
How to make doughnuts from scratch and different ways in which they can be finished.
All of the learning is completed through practical sessions in the college’s state of the art training kitchen facility.
The classes are instructive while in a relaxed/fun atmosphere. Questions will be answered and lots of hints and tips will be given throughout the course.
You MUST currently be in Year 10 or Year 11 at school.
No experience is necessary. Everything will be provided for you.

If you want to bring your own apron you can but a disposable one will be provided. A recipe sheet will be provided so you can make the delicious doughnuts at home.
You may also want to bring a container/bag to take your goodies home!
