This course is about gaining IT and Finance Skills for the workplace. The qualification will allow learners to apply knowledge, understanding and skills to a level recognised by employers, thus proving competency in their job role.
You do not need a background in IT or Finance for this course as it is a foundation for those learners who are new to using IT and would like to pursue a job that either requires IT skills or to go on to further study in IT or accounting.

While this qualification is in IT units selected are those based on the use of spreadsheet and accounting software so that students can begin to understand the types of IT skills that are needed in the workplace.
After completing this course it will be possible to progress on to the Association of Accounting (AAT) course or to complete a further IT qualification.
This course is taught in our dedicated IT suites
This course is assessed by course work and unit short assessments, there are no exams.
A good level of English is required for this course. You will also need a basic understanding of computers and maths.
You will be required to attend an interview prior to enrolling on the course.
After this course you can progress to Level 2 AAT Accounting
