About this course

The HND in Art and Design is a practical course that would particularly benefit those with a desire to work in the creative arts industry or are currently working within the profession. It will provide you with a range of creative experiences and will enable you to experiment and develop skills in drawing, painting, textiles, fashion, photography, printing, graphics and sculpture/3D methods. The course ends with a professional art exhibition where you can showcase your work to the public, local employers and higher education institutions.

This course is classified as a full-time course but you will only be required to attend college two days per week.

The HND is a far more cost-effective option than a degree.

Student Feedback

"The course is very diverse, hands-on and relevant. You don't just learn how to create art, but also how to exhibit your work and to make a living as an artist." Charlotte Dennis, now studying MA Fine Art at University for the Creative Arts (Farnham).
