The GCSE in English course offered at City College is designed to give you the confidence and knowledge required to improve a GCSE D/3 grade (or Level 2 Numeracy/Literacy) to that vital C/4 grade needed to progress into any further education courses.

*Our English courses are FREE – you would only need to pay for GCSE English if you have already achieved this qualification at grade C/4 or above.

If English is not your first language and you have not been resident in the UK for the last 5 years, please apply for ESOL.
