Qualification: City & Guilds Award Level 2
This part-time City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in Computerised Accounts is designed for individuals wanting to enter or progress in the field of computerised accounts. It will help you to develop competence in the practical use of computerised accounts software to produce accurate, professional and well-presented accounts employing an appropriate range of accounting services.
The aim of the qualification is to enable you to carry out every day operational aspects of computerised accounts. These include processing accounting transactions, producing customer and supplier documentation and producing reports such as aged creditor analysis and sales day book summaries for management purposes.
The course includes all materials, books and exam fees.

Please note that all courses are subject to minimum numbers. If there are too few enrolments, the College may cancel the course. A place on your chosen course is not confirmed until enrolment is complete and any relevant fees are paid.
There is no funding available for this course, so all students will be required to pay the full course fee.

All of the course is based in the classroom with no distance learning.
No prior accountancy or bookkeeping experience is required to undertake this qualification but, due to the content of this course and the required level of work commitment, a good level in both English and numeracy is required for enrolment.
You will be required to attend a telephone interview prior to enrolling on the course.
The skills developed on this course can be used to find employment in the finance sector or alternatively you can progress onto the AAT accounting qualifications provided by the College.
