About this course
If you’ve always wanted to be able to bake your own bread but are unsure where to start, if so then this course is perfect for you.
During this course, you will use a variety of different flours and will learn the different stages of the artisan baking process, the importance of ingredients and different skills needed.
This course is hands-on so will also give you plenty of opportunity to put your newly learnt kneading, prooving and shaping skills into practice.
You will leave the course with the knowledge and confidence needed to bake your own fresh bread at home.

You will be provided with a recipe book with all the recipes and information you need to create your products at home.
This course is for anyone interested in baking bread. No experience is necessary. All abilities welcome.
No baking experience is necessary; just enthusiasm. You will also be able to listen to bakery processes and techniques explained in a relaxed and friendly environment.
All of the learning is completed through practical sessions in the college’s state of the art training kitchen facility.
The classes are instructive while in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. After a demonstration, you will make your own bread.
Questions will be answered and lots of hints and tips will be given throughout the course.
No interview required, simply apply for the course and we will be in touch to organise payment and enrollment.
A list of ingredients will be sent out before the first lesson, there after your recipe book will have all the other ingredients you need.
If you want to bring your own apron you can but a disposable one will be provided.
Please bring a pen to make any notes and some containers/bags so you can carry your products home.
