Monday – Thursday

7am – 4pm

Friday

7am – 12pm

 Vacancy Description

To learn what is required of a skilled sheet metal worker, from reading drawings, to finished parts. You will learn how to create work from scratch and pick up skills such as measuring, cutting, forming, welding, and cleaning.

Qualifications

A* to C or above in English and Maths GCSE is desirable for this Apprenticeship. We will ask for evidence of this when applying. If you cannot provide evidence, we unfortunately cannot progress with your application.

Things to consider: 

At times there will be heavy lifting and moving of heavy materials / jobs. Job is very physical. Environment is usually noisy and dirty. You would have to take great care to avoid accidental injury from machinery. You would have to wear protective clothing, such as boiler suits, ear protector, goggles and gloves.
