Wage:

£290 per week.
37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday- 9am until 5pm.
When ready will join the on call rota (1 weekend in 3).

Vacancy Description

Joining our Facilities Maintenance team as an Electrical Installation Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical and skilled experience in facilities management, earn a salary and study a professional qualification. You will work alongside an experienced team learning the technical and practical aspects of FM and putting your skills into practice as you go.

Roles and Responsibilities

• As a FM team member, assist with the overall maintenance of buildings and grounds at Naomi House & Jacksplace, our 23 charity shops and Warehouse.
• Carry out given tasks correctly
• Conducting routine inspection of premises and equipment
• Performing maintenance
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance
• Carry out potable appliance testing
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• As an FM team member, assist with the maintaining of records in line with the Trust’s maintenance plan
• Plan own work
• Make best use of technology so maintenance is cost effective using the BMS system and fault reporting system
• Be prepared to be hands on and learn on the job

Qualifications

As this is a Level 3 apprenticeship, all candidates will need A* to C in English and Maths.

Candidates will need to be able to drive.
They will also need a DBS Check.
