The Kids Love Nature Nursery at Marwell Zoo are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join their team as an Early Years apprentice and to help support their busy nursery.

You will be working with children aged from 2 years - 5 years.

Job Role & Responsibilities

You will be required to support new children in settling into the environment, plan and present activities to the children based on their interests and developmental needs, change nappies & clothing as needed and assist with toilet learning as appropriate.

The daily tasks include preparing & maintaining the kindergarten, rotating activities & books, and letting the manager know when new supplies are needed.

Skills required

• You need to be a positive, passionate and motivated individual with a love for the outdoors.
• Be able to communicate with other staff, children and their families.
• Being punctual, professional and confident is key for this role.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grade D/3 or above (if you do not have maths or English you will complete functional skills as part of your apprenticeship)
