Wage:
£250 per week
Working week will be 40 hours:Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm with breaks/lunch)
Vacancy description:
The job role will consist mainly of bricklaying with aspects of carpentry works within the domestic trade and also working alongside other trades. Saxby Construction Ltd is a small construction company that covers extensions, refurbishments, loft conversions etc so a team worker is essential.
Daily tasks will involve working alongside the owner and sub-contractors but also being able to undertake tasks on your own with correct instruction and guidance.
Bricklaying would be the apprenticeship you are enrolled on, but you will be asked to carry out other tasks and given a great opportunity to learn many skills within the building trade.
Skills required:
No skills are required but a positive attitude towards work and learning are essential. Candidate entry requirements:
GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above is required. We will ask for evidence of this when applying. If you cannot provide evidence, we unfortunately cannot progress with your application.
