£5 an hour.

Mon-Fri 8- 5pm with day release to college.
½ hour for lunch
20 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)

Vacancy Description

Accolade Building Services Ltd (ABS) is a long established successful Mechanical and Electrical Building Engineering Services Company based in Ringwood and seek an Apprentice Building Engineering Services Projects / Design Engineer to join our friendly, professional team at our office in Ringwood.
To develop skills throughout the apprenticeship period with the objective of becoming a qualified and experienced Building Engineering Services Projects or Design Engineer / Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

To assist and support senior and intermediate staff within the design / CAD department and projects department.
• To send out enquiries to both manufacturers and subcontractors for plant / equipment and subcontractors’ pricing.
• To place orders at the request of project staff and site staff.
• To carry out necessary filing for design staff and project staff on request.
• To assist in producing Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
• To assist in producing design and calculations files including technical submittals associated with the design and early project procurement of technical information submittals.

• To provide CAD support to design staff as requested.
• To develop CAD, design and projects skills to progress within the business.
• To generally assist and support ABS colleagues and staff on request.
• Ensuring compliance with the company procedure at all business levels as detailed within the company handbook.
