Wage

£6.01 per hour starting wage. Reviews are undertaken by the company, subject to knowledge and experience.

Monday – Friday 09.00 – 5.30pm
40 hour week

Vacancy Description

MAG-7 are a consultancy business dedicated to finding commercial solutions for our sub-contractor client base. We have a new vacancy for a Trainee M&E Quantity Surveyor who can develop into the role, specialising in mechanical & electrical contracts within the construction industry.

You must be able to travel to Lymington and arrive at work for a prompt 9am start.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Undertake training, including external programme and on the job experience.
• Assist, manage and complete in a timely and professional manner tasks that are directed by line manager and generally associated with the M&E Quantity Surveyor role in accordance with company procedures.
• Under direction of line manager assist with all company procedures and processes.

Skills Required

• Self-motivated, flexible approach to work; disciplined, organised and have a can-do attitude
• Health & safety awareness.
• The ability to use initiative, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Personal Qualities

• You must be able to follow verbal instruction.
• You must be punctual, reliable and have a friendly, positive outlook.

Qualifications

As this is a level 3 qualification, any applicants must have an A*-C/ 4-9 in English and Maths GCSE. We cannot consider an applicant that doesnt have evidence they have already achived this.
