The College provides you access to online resources to support your teaching and learning. Some of these resources are free and others are subscribed to by the College. You can find resources for your specific subject area by using the Subject Guide section. If you are prompted for a username and password then enter your personal, College computer username and password.

• ACE Vision (Association of Cruise Experts)
  An innovative online training programme giving lists of events, ship visits, Cruise Expos and Know How days. You will need a username and password to access this resource.
  Once logged into the site you will then need to go to the ACE Academy to register for an individual training profile which gives you access to the online training.
• Aircraft Flight: a description of the physical principles of aircraft flight
  E-Book that provides accurate physical, rather than mathematical, descriptions of the principles of aircraft flight. This popular text gives mechanical engineering and aeronautical engineering students a useful introduction to the subject.
• Apprenticeships: for students, for parents, for job seekers
  E-Book that helps you assess all the alternatives, provides self assessment questionnaires and practical guidance on the application process. For both school leavers and adult learners, this is the only resource you'll need to make an informed decision.
• Approaches to psychology

• Assessing learning in the lifelong learning sector

• British Universities Film and Video Council (BUFVC)
  Access nine databases containing over 13 million records relating to TV, radio, film, plays and the news.
• BUBL
  BUBL is a catalogue of carefully selected internet resources covering all academic subject areas.

• Cambridge Journals
  Over 300 peer-reviewed journals covering a range of subject areas that includes: counselling, engineering, biology, psychology and education. Full text journal articles are available but you will be restricted from accessing content in the most recent edition of the journal.
• Carl Rogers
  E-Book: Carl Rogers (1902-1987) is arguably the most influential psychologist and psychotherapist of the 20th century. Providing unique insights into his life and a clear explanation of his major theoretical ideas, this book offers an accessible introduction for all practitioners and students of the person-centred approach.
• CIA World Factbook
  The World Factbook provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 267 world entities. Including maps and flags of the World.

• Further electrical and electronic principles
  E-Book: A core text for pre-degree courses in electrical and electronic engineering courses. The coverage of this new edition has been brought in line with the specialist unit 'Further Electrical Principles' of the 2007 BTEC National Engineering specification from Edexcel. It is also suitable for other Level 3 students on vocational courses such as Vocational AS/A Level, City & Guilds courses and NVQs.   Environmental articles, documents and reports which include topics such as global warming, recycling and alternative fuel sources.

• Hairdressing Training
  Several haircuts are featured with a photographic step-by-step guide, a quick textual guide and a few simple questions to test your understanding of the material. The lessons section of the site covers much of the theory behind the haircuts, whilst the products section looks at the equipment and hair care products that the student will need to know as part of their education. This is an ideal reference resource for students on the NVQ Level 2 course.
