This project has been set up to engage with NEETs between the ages of 16 and 22.

We are looking for young people that haven't achieved a level 1 qualification,

particularly in Maths, English and ICT.

This is 2 free days of activities to give potential Foundation Learning students the opportunity to engage with college in a relaxed and fun way.

Day 1 is working with Groundwork Solent, a local charity, learning about the environment, sustainability and getting hands on at their Woodmill site, putting this to use in a practical way.

The first part of day 2 involves a couple of hours of Information, advice and guidance. We will have a chat with the young people on a one to one basis giving an overview of what options the individual young person has. This may be a programme with us, a referral to an agency, other service provider or advice on apprenticeships.

The second half of the day is spent at Active Nations Woodmill Activity Centre. There will be a variety of activities available including Archery, High Ropes, Low Ropes and team building exercises such as crate stacking.
