EFL Courses

We offer a number of different courses, each designed to suit the wide variety of students who come to us to study. With an average of fifteen students in a class, the courses provide you with the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills you need to either live and work in the , progress to higher education or help you advance your career in your own country.

We offer full time (15 hours a week core + 5 hours additional if required) or part time (2, 3 or 4 and ½ hours a week) general English courses and IELTS preparation courses, which you can join at various times of the year.

At the end of your course, the following exams are available:

Cambridge First Certificate (FCE)
Cambridge Advanced Certificate of English (CAE)
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
ESOL Skills for Life

What Next?

Once you have your EFL qualification you may be able to progress to another course at City College , or with another college or university. You may also be able to use your qualification to progress with your studies or career in your own country.
