MMYT Present 'Honk Jr'
Ugly is born, of course, as a Duckling but it soon becomes clear that he is no ordinary Duck. Mocked on the farmyard, pursued by the ever-hungry Cat, Ugly finds himself lost on a nearby marsh in the middle of a duck-shoot and embarks on an odyssey through the countryside, meeting a battery of colourful characters and finding himself, and love, along the way.
Come and join Ugly on this adventure of happiness, courage and adversity as Mayflower Musical Youth Theatre (MMYT) perform their first ever youth production. Honk Jr is suitable for all ages.

Nuffield Youth Theatre
Hub Theatre, City College Southampton
20 - 22 February 2014
Part of the National Theatre’s nationwide Connections project, an annual festival of new plays for youth theatre groups and schools.
Across five centuries of British history, small groups of children seek sanctuary in the same solid, old wardrobe. It's the safest place they know - but is it safe enough?
From the last days of the Wars Of The Roses, through the brutality of the English Civil War, the paranoia of the Plague, the heartbreak of conscription during the First World War right up to modern day complications with social networking, this beautifully written new play by Sam Holcroft seamlessly weaves humour with moments in history that ultimately depict the loss of innocence of these young people.
Sam Holcroft is currently writer-in-residence at the National Theatre Studio and under commission from the National Theatre, the National Theatre of Scotland, the Traverse Theatre and Paines Plough.
The prestigious and dynamic Nuffield Youth Theatre works with professional theatre makers to create thrilling and inspiring work in a variety of settings. Previous productions include The Three Musketeers (Nuffield Main House), Someone to Blame (Nuffield Studio), Cymbeline (Nuffield Main House) and The Fuhrer Will Now Speak (Nuffield Studio).

It’s 1971. Michael Dork may be a computer geek but he’s invented something that could change the world. He’s also discovered GIRLS: a prospect (almost) as exciting as his love of binary.
Holly is THE girl: she has looks and brains and wants to be the first woman in space - well, this is 1971! But will she want Michael?
Eddie wants a fast ride to the top and doesn’t care who gets trampled along the way.
Leia just wants Eddie. Or Eddie’s babies - well, she thinks she does.
Michael, and his sci-fi obsessed, social-misfit friends, Lucas, Francis and Marvin are all set to change the course of history, fashion and dating - in no particular order, but just as soon as possible, especially the dating bit.
Now meet the Class of 1971. This is their story and now it’s a musical. Performed by award winning Music Theatre South
LOSERVILLE is an all new British musical written by Elliot Davis and James Bourne (member of pop-rock bands Busted and Son of Dork).
