• On average, studying an HNC/HND at college is 70% cheaper than studying for a degree at university for three years
• You can go straight into work and it's likely that because of your extra qualification you'll go into the workplace at a higher level and higher salary
• Alternatively, you can continue your education and go on to study an HND, which will give you an even higher level of academic and vocational ability.
• Most HND courses at City College will allow you to go straight into a university top-up programme and obtain a degree in your chosen subject. Alternatively, you can go straight into work at a supervisory or management level.
• An HND qualification is classed as a full level 5 qualification and is equivalent to the first two years of a degree course. HNC and HND qualifications are much valued by employers as giving the relevant industry knowledge needed to enter work at management level.
