Early Years (Childcare)
Would you like to make a difference to children’s lives? Are you interested in the practical development of children and applying your knowledge in a fun and enjoyable way through your working life? Are you looking for a rewarding vocation rather than just a job?
With so many parents continuing to work whilst having children and a growing trend in a need for qualified staff, there are many exciting opportunities in the childcare sector. There has never been a better time to take up studies in childcare, with more places being made available every year through nurseries and preschools.
The first years are critical in a child’s development. Do you think you’ve got what it takes to make an impact on people’s lives in this rewarding and very responsible role? If you enjoy working with children and can offer young people enthusiasm, passion and commitment, then childcare will give you a sense of achievement and job satisfaction. Nursery Managers can earn up to £30k.
Early years worker, private nanny, playgroup supervisor, nursery manager, creché assistant, children’s holiday rep either UK based or abroad, work with airlines and unaccompanied children, progress to university and become a teacher.
